Your changes will be limited to the original pencil thumbnails or drawing roughs. You’ll receive a copy of the drawing via email of the layout in Pencil: At that point you can ask for changes. Once the colour work begins , i.e. the laying down of the colours, any revisions will be subject to extra costs.
That depends on several factors. For example, are you after one single caricature, with out a back ground ?
Or are you after two or more people in the artwork?
Or are you after a complex highly detailed Illustration?
My normal turnaround for a single person, no background caricature is generally one week.
The more complex, the longer it takes.
You can generally work on a two week turnaround for artwork.
Framed Prints are subject to our framing turnaround times as well, so completion of artwork + two week turnaround at our framers. Unless you request a rush order from both myself and my framer. they are two seperate situations and are not concurrent.
The only exception is Complex Background illustrations, depending on the level of the complexity, these can take a three to four week turnaround. Your work will be in a que, so completion times may be extended again.
Rush Service means: Can I put my job in front of other people’s jobs.?
I can offer a rush service, however, it is subject to a 25% surcharge and whether it is feasibly possible to do so. I may have several jobs with deadlines already in place and additional paid up rush jobs in process. I can only offer the service if my slate is relatively clear.
Rush jobs do not include the production time for framing or the delivery of the artwork:
Custom framing can take several weeks. Therefore rush jobs are only available for digital download artwork only. Original will be subject to postal or courier delivery schedules.
How fast is a rush job ?
General turnaround for a rushjob (Not including complex art illustrations or multiple revisions) is one week. That is for digital download and does not include the delivery of the original physical artwork within that time frame.
I will do my utmost best to meet your timelines, but the turnaround is subject to artworks in progress.
Your artwork will be packaged well and sufficently, for all but the roughest and most abusive of handling.
Once the artwork is in the hands of Australia Post or a Courier service and you have the tracking number it becomes your responsibility.
You can opt for Transit insurance should you wish to ensure your artwork or framed artwork is insured for any damages enroute to you.
If you choose not to insure your Artwork, any damage to framing or artwork will be your responsibility.
Our framing is all 100% Australian Custom made, using only the best materials. Therefore there is an extra turnaround time for framing on top of my illustration timeframe.
You will be guaranteed of absolute top notch, museum grade finishing and extremely robust quality.
I do not use or purchase supermarket or discount store frames for your artwork, they are not of sufficient quality or durability to conatin your artwork, at least not from my studio.
Of course you are welcome to source your own frames if you wish.
A proof or layout is provided after the order is paid for. You are welcome to suggest a change from the initial proof, however once the proof is approved and final art is commenced, changes cannot be readily made.
